    Problem for Label Printer When Printing with Receipt Paper

    Product: OCOM Thermal Barcode Label Printer OCBP-005

    Problem description:
    After cutting the paper, on the next print the printer starts with a back feeding before printing and then the paper goes inside (red LED on and beeps).

    Paper used: Thermal Receipt Paper

    Reason is:
    1. Thermal receipt paper is too thin, but gap on printer for paper is wide. When paper back feed, it's very easy to take all paper back to paper room. Then sensor can't detect the paper. So red light and alarm will be on.

    2. As thermal paper middle tube is thin, you can't use printer roller. So you just put the paper roll in paper room. When printer prints, the paper roll will be dragged and leave bottom of paper room. When paper back feed, the roll will be back to bottom, then it drags all paper back to paper room. Sensor can't detect paper either.

    Solution: Use label paper.
