Working Principle of Micro Switch for Cash drawer

Micro Switch can help to monitor the cash drawer is opening or closed!

Above is a map of the connection ports of printer, cable and cash drawer . The working principle of micro switch is given current signal to your software. When the cash drawer is opening, the metal sheets of micro switch will be pulled down, then the electric circuit will be connected, and it will give a current signal through pin 3 and pin 6. When the cash drawer is closed, the metal sheets will be back, the electric circuit will shut down, then no current signal. So it requires your software can accept this signal.

To read current signal, it requires your software can monitor signal of RJ11 ports.
