Origins and customs of Christmas
December 25 was originally the birthday of the sun god stipulated by the Roman Empire. Some people think that choosing this day to celebrate Christmas is because Christians believe that Jesus is the righteous and eternal sun. After the middle of the 5th century, Christmas, as an important festival, became a church tradition and gradually spread among East and West churches.
Every year at this time, cheerful Christmas songs are fluttering in the streets and alleys, the shopping malls are full of lights and colors, and there is a warm and joyful atmosphere everywhere. In the sweet dreams, the children are looking forward to Santa Claus descending from the sky and bringing the gifts they have dreamed of. Every child is full of expectations, because children always imagine that as long as there is a sock on the bedside, there will be the gift they want in it when they wake up on Christmas day.
