What is the difference between VFD, LED, LCD and OLED?
What is the difference between VFD, LED, LCD and OLED?
LED - Light Emitting Display is just a light emitting diode
VFD - Vacuum Fluorescent Display, the display image is fixed
LCD - Liquid Crystal Display, is the general LCD screen, most of the mobile screen
OLED-Organic Light Emitting Display, which does not require a backlight, uses a very thin coating of organic materials and a glass substrate that emits light when current is passed through it. The OLED display screen is thinner and lighter than the LCD.
Resolution: LED has the lowest resolution, VFD is second, OLED is higher, and LCD is the highest. The resolution here refers to the interval between display units on their pattern, regardless of the size of the display unit itself.
Contrast: OLED has the highest contrast, VFD is second, LED is slightly worse (not necessarily), LCD is the worst (not necessarily)
Brightness: OLED is the highest, LED is also the highest, VFD is second, LCD is the worst (not necessarily)
Chromaticity: OLED is the best, LED is second, LCD is slightly worse (not necessarily), VFD is the worst
Response speed: OLED and VFD are better, LED and LCD are worse.
